We have taken the following actions to resolve the incident:
Our vendor is contacted and confirmed there is a fiber-cut between Eindhoven and Heerlen. Customer traffic from Heerlen is now always routed to the rest of the world via Frankfurt until the repairs are done. We will continue to monitor this situation and provide an update as soon as possible.
Estimated end-time:
Vendor located the problem, and are expecting the materials to repair the issue to arrive at 18:00 UTC+2, they also expect another 2 hours to carry out repair works. Repair works are estimated to finish around 20:00 UTC+2.
Impact:
Customers with a WAVE between Rotterdam and Heerlen or Eindhoven and Heerlen are impacted with downtime.
MPLS customers are not impacted and re-routed as explained above.
