Expected downtime/impact: To minimize any impact or issues we will be migrating one customer at a time, this will be a seamless transition with a small chance of brief cache cold-start. There will be a backup of the current configuration to roll back to if any issues arise.

  • The fiber cut has been fixed. The link has been restored.

  • Additional to the fiber cut due to the train derailment another fault was found. A sub-sea cable cut close to Henry Island has been identified and repair vessel is on fault location waiting for problematic tide and water currents to resolve so repair work can be started.

  • The damaged fiber link due to the train derailment was restored, however a separate sub-sea cable fault on this link is hindering restoration. Our vendor is planning for repair works. We will update you on the progress as received. ETA and ETR are currently unknown.
