[Network Maintenance] Migrating datacenter gateways - Dallas – July 21, 2025

Dear Client,

We would like to notify you of upcoming network maintenance activities that will affect services in our Dallas datacenter. The network maintenance has been scheduled for July 9, 2025.

Schedule:

Start time: July 21, 2025, 11:00 UTC

End time: July 21, 2025, 16:00 UTC

Planned impact: Reduced redundancy (see below for details)

Reason for this maintenance:

We will be migrating datacenter gateway interfaces and EVPN aggregator fabric links from the existing routers in our current Dallas network datacenter to new routers in our new Dallas network datacenter. This upgrade is part of our ongoing effort to enhance network performance, scalability, and long-term reliability. Migrations will be carried out one at a time to minimize risk and ensure a seamless transition.

Expected impact:

During this maintenance, redundancy will be temporarily reduced while interfaces and aggregator links are being migrated. In addition, Warden services at this site will be put into maintenance mode for approximately 30 minutes. These services will be seamlessly taken over by nodes in other sites. No direct customer-facing impact is expected.

Reason for this maintenance: The maintenance is required to update a network switch. This update will enhance system reliability and ensure consistent performance moving forward.

Expected impact: Reduced redundancy: The switch we are updating is part of a redundant configuration; the uptime of your server(s) will not be affected. The impact of the maintenance itself will be minimal (Potential latency increase at the start and end of maintenance).
