[Network Maintenance] Aggregation Switch Software Update - São Paulo – October 6, 2025

Dear Client,

We would like to notify you of upcoming network maintenance activities that will affect services in our São Paulo datacenter. The network maintenance has been scheduled for October 6, 2025.

Location: São Paulo, Brazil

Schedule: Start time: October 6, 2025, 08:00 UTC End time: October 6, 2025, 10:00 UTC Planned impact: Reduced redundancy (see below for details)

Reason for this maintenance: The maintenance is required to address difference in configuration behaviour in newer software releases. This will prevent potential issues and ensure we can maintain stability.

Expected impact: Reduced Redundancy: As the activity will be executed by one aggregation switch at the time, there is no impact expected. During this maintenance there will be reduced redundancy. This is the first maintenance from a total of four aggregators.

CA: Montreal Backbone link between Montreal and Newark datacenters

At this moment we are experiencing problems with: Backbone link between our Montreal and Newark datacenters

The cause of the incident is currently: Known

We have taken the following actions to resolve the incident: The fiber cut has been located. An estimated 2 to 3km of cable between high voltage electric towers needs to be replaced to repair the fiber.

Estimated time of repair: Currently working to resolve.

Impact: Any end-user connecting to our network that would normally pass this backbone link will see heightened latency as the traffic takes a different route.

  • Linecard issues have been fully mitigated. However, there are still issues with one of our transit lines. Thus, certain users may still be experiencing congestion. We are working to resolve this.

    US: Dallas Dallas DC - Linecard - Brief Outage

    At this moment we were experiencing problems with: Linecard in Dallas DC

    The cause of the incident is currently: Known

    We have taken the following actions to resolve the incident: The issue was resolved and we are actively monitoring the situation.

    Estimated time of repair: Issue has been resolved.

    Impact: There was temporary packet loss for certain Dallas IPs during re-convergence of the network in Dallas but it fully recovered quite soon after the start of the incident.

    Impact: Due to the current ongoing incident on our backbone link between our Ashburn and Dallas datacenters, user traffic between Ashburn and Dallas, as well as Ashburn and Chicago, may experience increased latency / packet loss.
