Reason for this maintenance: We will be performing maintenance on our Stulz cooling units to support continued reliability and stability.

Expected impact: Reduced cooling redundancy: No impact is expected to services, but cooling redundancy will be reduced while the cooling units are being serviced. Minor temperature fluctuations may occur during the maintenance activities.

[Network Maintenance] Aggregation Switch Upgrade - Stockholm - September 8, 2026 - MCOM-456

Reason for this maintenance: We will be performing firmware upgrades on our aggregation switch(es) to improve quality and ensure long-term reliability.

Expected impact: Reduced redundancy: No impact expected, but there will be reduced redundancy during the maintenance window; aggregate switches will be upgraded one at a time to ensure minimum impact.

Control panel Smartdc i3D.net/Smartdc issues resolved

We experienced issues with: i3D.net website, i3D.net API, i3D.net customer panel, Smartdc website, Smartdc API and the Smartdc customer panel

The cause of the incident was: unusual load on critical infrastructure

We have taken the following actions to resolve the incident: measures were taken to lower the load resulting in all components being available again. Meanwhile the root cause has been resolved meaning that this issue will not happen again.

Impact: the following components experienced a major outage: i3D.net website, i3D.net API, i3D.net customer panel, Smartdc website, Smartdc API and the Smartdc customer panel

The cause of the incident is currently: Unknown, we are investigating

  • The root cause of the event, was a linecard in one of the DE-CIX Frankfurt switches that was malfunctioning. DE-CIX talked to Nokia TAC and they recommended to reload this linecard. After that things normalized. One of the two ports that we have at DE-CIX Frankfurt was connected to this linecard and therefore 50% of the traffic through DE-CIX could have been affected by this problem.

    The incident has been investigated and has been resolved.

  • One of the uplinks towards the DE-CIX is malfunctioning. This uplink is disabled, which removed the impact. We will work on resolving this permanently.
